About Me

I was born in Manchester and come from a family of medical professionals with no connection to horses. I can’t really explain where my passion for horses came from but what I can say is that I genuinely know this is what I was born to do.

Hard work, determination, and an unwavering zeal to doing things properly: these are what I consider the tenets of my equestrian philosophy.

I first sat on a horse in New Zealand at five years old, and by the time I moved to England at ten, I was hooked. Being homeschooled allowed me to dedicate serious time to riding, and at thirteen I began working as often as I could at a riding school — learning the foundations of horse care, management and professionalism from the ground up.

At fourteen, my parents provided with me with my first horse, Zorro. Together, Zorro and I went from never having evented, to competing up to Intermediate and 2*L. Producing a horse through the levels gave me a deep understanding of patience, partnership, and long-term development — values that now underpin how I train and manage every horse in my care.

For five years I was mentored by Chris McGrann, whose guidance helped shape my system and approach. He continues to support me today.

In March 2024, I became work rider to the current FEI world number one event rider, Harry Meade. Over two full seasons, I worked within a high-performance environment, riding and producing top-level horses and gaining invaluable experience in elite competition preparation, management, and standards.

Over the past few seasons, I have achieved significant success at young rider level, including finishing 9th at the Bicton Young Riders in 2025 and being longlisted for the FEI European Championships. I was also crowned winner of the U21 2*L National Championships in 2024 and I am honoured to have been chosen as a PMP Tier 2 Rider, reflecting my consistent performance and progression within the sport.

I am now based in the beautiful countryside of Marlborough, where I run my own eventing set-up focused on producing horses with care, attention to detail, and a clear long-term plan.

For owners, my priority is simple:

Clear communication

Professional management

Thoughtful, progressive training

And always putting the horse’s long-term future first

I understand the trust involved in placing a horse with a rider. My goal is to build genuine partnerships with owners — working together to develop horses correctly, competitively, and sustainably.

My programme is built around one clear principle: the horse always comes first. Long-term soundness, confidence, and correct development are never compromised for short-term results.

Having spent two seasons working for Harry Meade (current FEI world number one), I developed a deep understanding of the standards, structure and attention to detail required to produce horses for the highest level of the sport. This high-performance framework now underpins my own equestrian philosophy.

Each horse is produced through a progressive, strategic system — with careful competition planning, professional fitness management and a clear long-term vision.

I am fortunate to be supported by an excellent team of vets, farriers, physios, trainers, and mentors who share the same philosophy and standards. Every decision is made collaboratively, with the horse’s welfare and future value at the centre.

For owners and syndicates, I offer transparency, professionalism, and a genuine partnership — working together to develop horses capable of reaching their full competitive potential.

Aims & Ambition

My long-term ambition is to become one of the best riders in the sport — not only in terms of results, but in the quality of horses I produce and the standards I uphold as a horseman.

I want to build a programme known for producing confident, sound, top-level horses capable of sustained success. Performances are important, but they must be built on correct development and long-term thinking.

Excelling at the 5* level and in particular, winning Burghley Horse Trials has always been a personal goal of mine. This to me, represents the pinnacle of the sport, and I am committed to building towards that level properly and sustainably with the right horses and owners behind me.

The Path Ahead

Short term, my focus this season is to target the Under-25 Championship at Bramham Horse Trials, and, if progression allows, aim for 4*L at Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials.

Medium term, my goal is selection for the Under-25 World Championships — gaining championship experience while continuing to develop horses capable of stepping confidently towards the top level.

For owners, this means a clear direction, structured progression, and ambition matched with patience. I am committed to building long-term partnerships with those who want to invest in a journey towards the very highest level of the sport.
